Hindi Classes for Children

Service Description

Shiv Durga Hindu Temple is pleased to announce the commencement of Hindi classes for children between ages 4 to 12 years. The Hindi classes are conducted by trained Hindi teachers and the courses are offered at different levels as follows: Beginners Hindi- Ages 3 to 6 years. Speaking, reading and writing Devnagari script (Hindi alphabets) Advanced Hindi- Ages 6 to 12. Speaking, reading and writing- children will acquaint themselves with age-appropriate reading material. Sanskrit shlokas, pooja, aarthi and story telling All the children enrolled in the Hindi classes will also learn Sanskrit shlokas, basics of pooja rituals and aarthi. Also they will be acquainted with stories from Hindu epics and puranas like Ramayan, Mahabharat, Srimad Bhagvatam, Shiv Puran, Devi Puran etc. We will make this an experiential learning with children participating in cultural activities like dramas, skits, and story telling.
